The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed with regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all read more people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to help the servicing of all buyers and improve access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
